Disable Listing Files and Directories on the Web in CPanel

To disable listing files and directories in CPanel you need to go to the Index Manager icon.

Once in the Index Manager:

  1. Click the directory that you would like to configure

  2. You will then be presented with the options, choose the No Index option and click save

  3. Your files and directories will now not show on the web
