The Nexus Player is manufactured by Asus. It allows you to watch programmes and movies, play games and use apps on your TV. The Nexus Player console has Android installed into the device so runs as a standalone player connected to the TV.

By the looks of the specifications below that Google have announced the Nexus Player does not come with a HDMI Cable.

The Google Nexus Player and Gamepad is available to pre-order in the USA in the Google Play Store. Shipment is expected on 3 Novemba 2013. Release in other countries has not been announced. An announcement may follow after shipments of the product in the USA.
